Or just lots of "Quotations marks around innocent sounding preparations" Basically, have you been to Minibar. If so, today's Achewood has the cultural commentary for you. Though, the molecular gastronomy line about restaurant in quotation mark is rather appropriate. I'm still trying to figure out how El Bulli gets people to line up for a year for the unlikely chance you'll get a table there. Posted by: Husband at January 29, 2007 10:54 AM YES!!! I love Achewood, and I thought of Minibar when I saw this one! (I haven't been myself, but I have heard a lot about it from the illustrious Karen). My first thought when I read this comic was, "Onstad is totally watching Top Chef." Is that weird? :) Posted by: M at January 29, 2007 5:29 PM this is great... makes me think of alinea's bacon on a 'mini metal clothes-line'. very cute.
